Project Limits: I-75 from south of Collier Blvd. (SR 951) to north of Bayshore Rd. (SR 78)

FPID No: 442519-1

The Department conducted a Planning and Feasibility study from south of Collier Boulevard (SR 951) in Collier County to north of Bayshore Road (SR 78) in Lee County that makes up and evaluated the future needs of the I-75 South Corridor in District One. This study  evaluated strategies for the mainline and interchanges, including managed lanes, that would improve accessibility, mobility, and safety. Results of this study has been documented in this corridors Master Plan.

The Master Plan allows FDOT to better focus future efforts and funding in the most critical areas. This long-range approach provides a regional perspective in identifying the areas where future demand is predicted and assists the Department in defining the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study limits for the corridor. Improvements identified in this Master Plan includes widening, managed lanes, modifying interchanges, and evaluating requests for new interchanges.
