GET INVOLVED

The Florida Department of Transportation and its Southwest Connect program team are committed to engaging the public and project stakeholders throughout the duration of the program from the initial Planning and Project Development phases through the Design and Construction phases.

During the initial phases, outreach efforts will be focused on educating the public on the purpose and need of each project within the program, as well as providing information on how those interested can get and stay involved throughout the process. As the individual projects progress, opportunities will be identified and input encouraged prior to key decision-making milestones.

Opportunities will be provided to allow project stakeholders to provide additional input on the Recommended Alternatives prior to progressing to the Design and Construction phases.
