Bartow, Florida, 04/06/2020 – In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, officials at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One have postponed the public kickoff meetings to learn about the I-75 Connect Managed Lanes Study in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The meetings were previously scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee and Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Manatee Technical College.
The Department will make every effort to reschedule these meetings at a future to-be-determined date. In the meantime, the meeting information will be available to the public through a virtual preview on the project website beginning Thursday, April 9, 2020.
