Southwest Connect™ I-75 North Corridor Master Plan Public Outreach Meeting

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is hosting a Public Outreach Meeting for the Southwest Connect™ Interstate 75 (I-75) North Corridor Master Plan from south of SR 777 (River Rd.) in Sarasota County, Florida to north of Moccasin Wallow Rd. in Manatee County, Florida. For convenience, FDOT is providing multiple ways to participate: at an In-Person Open House and online at the project website: www.SWFLInterstates.com/north-corridor-VPM. The In-Person Open House will occur Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee County, located at 2320 Cattlemen Road, Sarasota, FL 34232. Bartow, FL 05/17/2021 - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is hosting a Virtual Public Outreach Meeting for the Southwest Connect™ Interstate 75 (I-75) North Corridor Master Plan from south of River Road (SR 777) to north of Moccasin Wallow Road in Sarasota and Manatee counties, Florida. Bartow, Florida, 04/06/2020 - In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, officials at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One have postponed the public kickoff meetings to learn about the I-75 Connect Managed Lanes Study in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The meetings were previously scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee and Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Manatee Technical College. The Department will make every effort to reschedule these meetings at a future to-be-determined date. In the meantime, the meeting information will be available to the public through a virtual preview on the project website beginning Thursday, April 9, 2020. POSTPONED: I-75 North Corridor Public Kickoff Meetings 3/16/2020 – In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, officials at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One are taking the precautionary steps of postponing the public kickoff meetings to learn about the I-75 Connect Managed Lanes Study in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The meetings were previously scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee and Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Manatee Technical College. The Department will make every effort to reschedule these meetings at a future to-be-determined date. Various format options for these meetings are being explored.
