Southwest Connect™ I-75 South Corridor Master Plan Public Outreach Meeting

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is hosting a Public Outreach Meeting for the Southwest Connect™ Interstate 75 (I-75) South Corridor Master Plan from south of SR 951 (Collier Blvd.) in Collier County, Florida to north of SR 78 (Bayshore Rd.) in Lee County, Florida. For convenience, FDOT is providing multiple ways to participate: at an In-Person Open House and online at the project website: www.SWFLInterstates.com/south-corridor-VPM. The In-Person Open House will occur Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the North Collier Regional Park – Exhibit Hall, located at 15000 Livingston Road, Naples, FL 34109. Bartow, FL, 05/17/2021 - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is hosting a Virtual Public Outreach Meeting for the Southwest Connect™ Interstate 75 (I-75) South Corridor Master Plan from south of SR 951 (Collier Boulevard) to north of SR 78 (Bayshore Road) in Collier and Lee counties, Florida.  This workshop will be held online and is available on the project website, www.SWFLInterstates.com/South-Corridor-VPM.   The meeting materials will be available for viewing and comment for 10 days, from June 8 – 18, 2021. Bartow, Florida, 04/06/2020 - In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, officials at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One have postponed the public kickoff meetings to learn about the I-75 Connect Managed Lanes Study in Collier and Lee counties. The meetings were previously scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the North Collier Regional Park – Exhibit Hall in Naples, Florida and Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Gulf Coast Church of Christ in Fort Myers, Florida. The Department will make every effort to reschedule these meetings at a future to-be-determined date. In the meantime, the meeting information will be available to the public through a virtual preview on the project website beginning Thursday, April 9, 2020. POSTPONED:  I-75 South Corridor Public Kickoff Meeting 3/16/2020 – In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, officials at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One are taking the precautionary steps of postponing the public kickoff meetings to learn about the I-75 Connect Managed Lanes Study in Lee and Collier counties. The meetings were previously scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the North Collier Regional Park – Exhibit Hall and Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Gulf Coast Church of Christ. The Department will make every effort to reschedule these meetings at a future to-be-determined date. Various format options for these meetings are being explored.
